What is dyslexia?
Dyslexia is difficulty processing language. It can affect spoken and written language. 20% of us are impacted in some way and 15% have reading problems. It is not a disease or mental deficiency. One does not outgrow it. It does not change over time, but it is more obvious at different times.
How does Accurate Perceptions’ work differ from other programs?
The Davis programs address the root cause of the problem which is confusion about language symbols and results in a loss of orientation or focus. Other programs work with the symptoms of orientation without correcting the cause.

What are Accurate Perceptions requirements for the program?
It begins with a consultation, then, a 1 ½ to 2 hour assessment. If it is indicated, then 30 hours of intensive private counseling followed by one hour each month for four months, and a final follow up two months later.
